When I was using Shield (Android) Clients I could increment forward essentially as fast as I could work the buttons, but now that I've switched to Fire TV Clients it only responds quickly to the first one or two clicks, then it hangs before catching up on subsequent clicks. Is this a configuration issue, or inherent in the Fire TV hardware?
I am using a Firestick Max (2nd Gen) and almost never have any significant pauses (less than .5 sec) while watching my recordings and skipping anywhere. I do believe sometimes when I have several programs that are recording or doing the comskip, I get some extra delay. My data drives are hard disks and not very speedy. I do use a 5Ghz wifi 6 connection and get around 400 to 500 mbs with 4ms delay. I am using Windows for my Channels server with a wired connection.
