Something went wrong

Did so. But when I open my Channels DVR app on my tablet and point to the Synology though it sees recordings it cannot find them. Seems things are not as I'd expected...

Can you play them from the DVR web UI?
If not, View Details of it to see where Channels DVR thinks it is.

Seems this is pointing the the now empty folder that you had me move everything up a level.

Should I update this setting?

Yep, get rid of the last part /DVR and you should be good.
You need to uncheck the DVR box to change it.

Just did so. Do I need to stop and restart the ChannelsDVR server after this?

Looks like I can watch them now from the server. Hoping all is well on the server side for now.

Wouldn't hurt, but I think just changing the path and checking the DVR box should work.
