I started getting this error this morning.
I run a primary server and a backup server. The primary server has the latest pre-release and it will not authorize Spectrum.
The backup is running an older release and i have no issues with the Spectrum authorization.
Any thoughts?
Same happened to me with Spectrum. It happened after I installed the latest pre-release and my server rebooted.
I installed a new CHDVR server on a different PC just so I could see if Spectrum would authenticate. It did authenticate, but I lost a lot of channels. Usually i have around 110 channels, but I only got 80.

Same result here in Daytona Beach Florida. For Spectrum it's now only 81 channels that authorize. Looks like only the A&E group, AMC, and FOX TVE are working. I have my sister's XFINITY log in, where I can still see HGTV and Discovery channels, The Turner suite (Except CNN), VH1, BET, but CNN is gone, I believe I saw elsewhere, that was DRMed.
Yep, I get 81 channels now, it used to be 111.
Same issue here with Spectrum TVE. Lost most of my channels.

FYI, there was an updated pre-release 2026.07.31.0416 recently, and it does not fix this problem.
So is this problem only happening in the beta versions? And if so, is it possible to install the latest stable version over top of the beta?
That won't downgrade back to the last stable release if you have a newer pre-release.
You can revert back to the latest stable release. Just hold the check for stable release down.
Thanks for the idea, but I tried it on both of my servers and nothing happened. It just said "Up to Date."
That checks for latest pre-release.
Easiest way to get latest stable release is to uninstall, then reinstall Channels DVR Server.
