I am coming from Nvidia shield to the firestick. On the home screen, the channels app icon will sometimes have an orange dot on the upper right hand corner..
What does the orange dot mean? When I highlight the app, it disappears.
orange dot on things means there is a notification
so says a quick google search.
I have only used Fire TV for a few minutes, so am not very up on it.
On Apple TV, a blue dot next to the app icon means that app was recently updated, and a orange dot means it is a beta app installed via TestFlight.
There is a notifications icon on the fire tv, but nothing there....does channels have notifications?
