Trakt Intergration?

Is Trakt available for Channels? I'd like to sync all my watched content.

@maddox . I know yall have 1000 things on your road map. Just a reminder that trakt has been mentioned many times on forum. So whats one more thing on your to-do list. Only 1001 more things. Yes, Im aware this may not be possible because Gracenotes dont match. PS. Keep up great work.

The biggest hurdle for this is that they don’t have Gracenote IDs for content. So there’s no good way to scrobble the content with them.

This is on our wish list too, but it’s hard because trakt does not support gracenote ids (sometimes called zap2it ids). So we would need to search for each show and try to match to trakt manually, which is both complicated and error-prone.

That's nice to hear, I love the recent features you all have added lately. Virtual Channels and Downloads have been very popular at our household and if we could add trakt support that would be another great benefit.

Only shot ATM to do this is to watch the recordings through Kodi or Jellyfin/Emby/Plex ATM which is unfortunate so I too hope they'll be some integration for Trakt inside Channels. The app is promising but still some holes. Have a lot of love for the developers tho

Create a "Watched" List Function

When I asked if Channels could create an interface with movie/tv tracking apps (i.e. Letterboxd, Trakt, etc.), I was told this is not possible since they do not use Gracenote IDs to match content. I was also told that if a move exists in your Channels' library, you can display a list of all movies watched. Watched Movie/TV Tracking I assume that you can do the same with TV shows. Incorporating Trakt TV

Hi peeps. Have you given any thought to trying to incorporate Trakt TV into Channels? I use it a lot to keep a record of shows I’ve watched and my progress across devices and platforms. Best thing is it’s free!!! Links into Infuse Pro, Archos (for Android) and most Addons in Kodi on my laptop. Sometimes I see a show or film on the TV guide and can’t remember if I’ve seen it, using Trakt would then give me a little ️ To indicate if I’ve seen that episode already.

We’re well aware and want it too but incompatibilities in data in Channels and Trakt makes it a challenge.
