Update Artwork Series Pass

I set up the DVR to record a season pass and after recording a few episodes I noticed the artwork was outdated. I updated the artwork, selected to apply the art to all recordings of the show, and all of the recordings that were in the system updated. I watched all of the recordings and then deleted them when finished. When the next episode recorded it still had the old artwork even though I checked "Apply art to all recordings of this show". Will Channels only update the art if the show is currently recorded and not for upcoming recordings as well?

Love the ability to change metadata, so not a big deal, just thought I'd ask.

That checkbox does effect future things. It just tells the system to update all the art for the existing recordings as well.

Shows and recordings have their own art.

When they show was recorded again, it used the default art.

What was the show? We have some show art overridden. In the way past, Gracenote’s art choices for some shows was very questionable. But things have gotten better.

Thanks for the quick reply! It was Survivor (CBS). The artwork was from like 5 years ago.
