Web player buffering issues

I am having terrible trouble with this. Web player buffers like crazy to the point of being unusable most of the time. Happens on everything. I don't see this issue on iOS app or Fire TV app but the web player is basically unusable for me on multiple devices. I've tried every setting and possibility but doesn't seem to matter. Also the Android app does the same thing for me on my main desktop (Chromebox) the video just stutters and buffers and locks up all the time. How to diagnose these issues? It's very frustrating!

The web player requires transcoding. Sounds like your dvr server is not powerful enough to transcode.

Yes I understand that. It's a Pentium G4400 with 16GB of RAM. It has no trouble doing everything else, and Plex works fantastic. So I'm thinking it is a Channels thing.

What is your video source?

What does it say underneath the web player when there are issues?

TVE and it always has the "Transcoder" or "Remux" but seems to have troubles either way. Buffer a lot, like all the time. Again this also happens on Android app running natively on my Chromebox as well. Also the same behavior is present just trying to watch a channel on the server itself through the Chrome web browser. It's not a CPU issue, there is plenty of power there to transcode.

TVE doesn't need to be transcoded, so it sounds like a different issue. Are you using VPN, custom DNS or other special networking software? What OS is your DVR running? What channels does it happen on?

Well on mine it always says Transcoder pretty much in the web player. So it appears to be transcoding no matter what. No particular special setup, and the server is Windows 10 Home. I don't have any issue with the Fire TV app or the iPhone/iPad stuff. Only through a web browser, although again, I observe the same behavior on the Android app on my Chromebox as well. This is happening on any channel, although it seems to be worse with say NBC as compared to some old TV sitcom on an SD channel. But they both buffer and skip and have problems constantly either way. Again, this behavior happens even when trying to watch in the web player on the server itself. So I don't know what to make of it.

Submit diagnostics after it happens and paste the diagnostics code here

I just did the submit after I tried a stream and it buffered several times in the 2 minutes I watched

Can you try changing transcoder to Software and Quality to max
