Whence TVE?

Pardon a probably dumb question: from where does Channels get the TVE list for my provider (FiOS)?
I ask because the list I get includes many channels that are not "in service" i.e. either get a 503 or eventually Channels reverts to the QAM channel. I've reloaded the list recently. I've spent a bunch of time testing each and blocking those that don't work. I'm just trying to understand the workings behind the curtain.
Thx

Can you give an example of a channel number and name that isn’t working?

Not an "Official" answer, as I'm just another paying Channels DVR user.

The list of supported Channels DVR TVE channels are the same for every user, no matter which Provider. This does not include Experimental Local TVE stations.

You can view that list in the Channels DVR web UI at Settings > Sources > [your provider name] > :gear: Manage > Rescan Channels

When you add a TVE source to Channels DVR, it scans every Channels DVR supported TVE channel and tries to authenticate them with your Provider.

You will not get every channel your Provider gives you access to, only the Channels DVR supported ones your provider allows TVE access to.

Thx for replies.
I came to realize my password for FiOS had changed. I updated the password in the Channels TVE settings and am doing a full channel rescan. Already am seeing better results. Please consider the question closed.
