Why are all my recordings now zero length files? This used to work a couple month's ago but now every DVR recording just is empty. Is there some log data somewhere that might explain why this is happening?

Please open the dvr web UI and check the Log tab to see what errors are shown.
It seems as if the encoder is crashing.
