Why is the "Install Beta App" missing from support section in the settings? Was it removed?

I don't see neither the install Bata app, nor the install the server option.
Was it removed from Android TV app?

The simplest way to sideload the beta APK is via the Downloader app :

1. Install Downloader by AFTVnews from the Play Store or Amazon Store
2. Enter 697374 or aftv.news/697374

Due to new Google Play Store restrictions, starting with v4.5.0 the Install button is no longer available in the regular Channels DVR app. To install the beta, use the Manual Sideload instructions below.

Got it, beta app installed.
Just curious.. what about installing the server? Is that not a option anymore? (I'm not interested in installing it, just wondering)

Ah ok, in the Bata app I do have the option to install the server, so I guess it's only doable from the Bata app. Got it

I found a version of beta around 3.x and it works, but the one I get off Downloader won't install for some reason. Is there another version that works better? Android TV (Shield).

If you have the beta app installed you can update it in the app by going to settings> support> update beta app

That fails as well here. It does allow installing the Alpha, but updating Beta falls.

Got it working - had to uninstall the existing Beta version first for some reason and then use the apk.
