When I go to configure the DVR, it shows 37.9 GB Available. When I go to my computer, it shows over 250 GB available. What's going on? MacBook Pro running macOS mojave.
Are you checking the drive where your dvr is configured to record?
Yes. SSD on it shows much more space than what the Apple TV app or DVR Configure screen in browser either one show.
Could you post a screenshot of the dvr web Settings screen vs what Finder shows

I did a brand new install of Ubuntu with a larger hard drive (2TB) and during the install it mentioned installing the LVM to manage partitions. It didn't really give an option of how much space to allocate.
