I have a current model ATV 4K with ethernet. My HDHR signal strength is usually strong, but I get multipath interference which causes temporary dropouts and the "poor reception" alert; but after that happens, often the audio continues to stutter with gaps about every 1 second. However, if I pause live TV for a few seconds and then resume, or hit the rewind button once or twice, the audio playback is smooth. So playing from further back in the live TV buffer it's fine. This happens regardless if I'm also recording the show on my HDHR, and the stuttering audio never happens when watching recordings.
