I'm in possession of an iPad. Might look into theming the Apple app but I don't even know where to begin.
I recently got from a friend, an iPhone XR to mess with...
I think it is a lost cause to try and make an app for Apple.
There is no sideloading that i can find.
And i read submitting an app to the app store u have to pay some yearly license fee of $100 per year to them...some bs like that,.
Things just have to be difficult and / or impossible with their products. The iPad is jailbroken if that makes it any easier. Idk. I played with the Channels app some, the purple isn't as ugly in the iOS version, and the app works better, so I was gonna use it for the 'Play To' feature but perhaps the Apples and Androids don't like each other, it works maybe 20% of the time. Or less.
I get "There was a problem parsing the package" when i try to download from google drive and save it to my phone.
Will try the file linked process.
Lemme have a look. The Filelinked worked for me, I always use that one to test it. I've gotten that error with a bad upload. I'll investigate

I see a Play to TV option in Channels app on android app already it pops up a message where do i want to play it on, shows my streaming devices.
so not sure what u mean about the Apple Play On? is it differnt in some way?
When I click watch on the iPad and choose SHIELD it will work once. It won't work anymore after the once.
I just tried the Filelinked on my GF phone with A10 and it worked. I have a theory. I'm guessing during the decompile / recompile a different API got used, which isn't compatible with A11. Not sure why it's suddenly an issue though.
So. I've been changing the tv banner with a different program which recompiles it after changing the banner, then I have to decompile / recompile it again for it to be signed properly. I will try eliminating that step, leaving the old banner. If it installs properly, I'll need to change the banner some other way.
Working fine for me. It seems to act like a basic remote for the Channels app. Infact, my Shield only shows up in the ply on list if the channels app is open(or is in the background). Does not have playback control, like casting does. But i can use the guide on the phone and start to play another channel, or switch to a differnt recording. works fine both iphone and android for me. lol
Installed fine on Chromecast. I'll have to look at this tomorrow, or edit the next version, whichever comes first.

Generic signing, so you need to uninstall an old version first. I'm thinking this shouldn't be an issue with the server side settings. I can make it update again in the future possibly.
Now this wont install on my Shield. "App not installed"

O. i didnt read that far that u now have to remove the old version first now.
that sucks, as its a pain for me, since it will first connect to my mothers server, since that one has Bonjour enabled, so switch it to mine via enter ip, then have to change the settings that do not get carried over, like enabled sources and couple other things. and also, have to add back to the Shield home screen the app, and move it to the left.
less likely to bother updating if it is back to this process. though, there is much less to have to reset in settings now.
but, better than no Carbon app at all.

I also get app not installed. Last version I was able to install on Chromecast with google tv was 105.28.105.
Just wait on the next version, the current one isn't signed to update like the rest. I'll get around to an update tomorrow.

This one is built and signed the way I've always been doing it, just for some reason to install on A11, I had to manually type 30 into the API rebuild level, not sure why, I was never doing that before. Anyways, I don't have to do anything differently now. This one will update. Thanks for using the theme everyone, I'm glad I could provide it.
