Channels DVR authentication to Hulu Fails | Captcha grayed out also

I just got Hulu Live TV and I'm unable to authenticate...after reading this thread I feel like it might have been a mistake...how do you clear out your TVE in Hulu?

I don't personally use Hulu, but have seen many users that do mention removing devices in their Hulu account. Have you tried that?

Most likely you will need to go into HULU and remove your Web Browser and then try to rescan. A lot of us had to do this recently in order to login. You should have also been getting e-mails with an authentication code in your e-mail. [image]

You don't need to use a browser on the NAS, just go to the Hulu website and clear out the device sessions.

Thanks. I also have a Synology. I setup Docker there and tested Hulu and was able to setup source. So I will move the DVR there.

I was about ready to go the Docker route. Could not get YTTV to authorize. Canceled YTTV. Reactivated my HULU account and was unable to get it to authorize over the last several days. I gave it one last try this morning and it worked, it sent authorization code and provided entry point in channels to enter it. All good for now.

I have logged into Hulu and when I do I get the code to my email...I do NOT see where i can remove any type of sessions yet...when I attempt to login to Channels on my synology Nas through docker I just get incorrect username and password it doesnt even get to anything else

I know this is an on going issue in several threads. I have tried on both a dedicated bare metal Windows installation and now Docker:tve on a Synology. I have removed all web sessions on the Hulu site. I still cannot login to TV Everywhere with Channels. I can log into all the sites individually with my Hulu/Disney credentials.

Pretty sure this is still broken and not much hope for it working properly. I switched to YouTube TV and couldn't be happier....

Since Hulu is fighting so hard against account sharing, part of the fight includes strict log in requirements.
My TVE needs are served best with Philo and Fubo TV for the stuff not on the docker.

Perfectly. As long as you use a family sub account with no 2fa

yo this worked for me..I got my hulu authentication back...Though I've fallen in love with YouTube TV now since I can't get that to work I'll just stick with hulu
