CHANNELS DVR Server address?

192.168.1.5 is what I thought, but not connecting... I don't understand how to "set" my router, I guess thats my issue.... but right now my wife wants to watch something and I can't get it to connect. The bedroom TV has the 192.168.1.5, not sure what's up... I'll submit my diagnostic in 1 minute if you can check it out.
thanks

Is the software running on your mac? Can you connect there, using http://127.0.0.1:8089 ? Does it show up in the mac menu bar next to the clock?

YEs

From Apple TV? What does the Network setting on the Apple TV say for the IP?

Click Help > Submit Diagnostics on the Apple TV app

What kind of wifi router are you using? Is the wifi network configured as guest maybe?

If it was working before and stopped all of a sudden.. maybe reboot the router.

REBOOT worked, didn't even ask me to connect.
Thank you very much.

And AGAIN... after we fixed the issue last time, the bedroom TV wouldn't connect.
Yesterday I rebooted and the bedroom TV connected...now the living room is offline again.... and will NOT connect. I just submitted both
I took a few pics...PLEASE TELL ME WHATS WRONG, I don't have these issues with Hulu, Netflix, Kodi or anything...

Sounds like your router is messing up. Did you try rebooting that like last time?

I have rebooted over and over... I have a Netgear Nighthawk "Mesh" system and run most everything on it...it's only 90 days old. Nothing else is an issue...I love CHANNELS, but its getting very annoying to reboot over and over, then set up over and over. Can you please look at the diagnostic I submitted? And WHY is this even an issue? If this was my wife or mom trying to get this running, it would never happen... from a business POV, thats scary that the typical average person can't be a customer.
:frowning:

We would need a diagnostic from the Apple TV after the error to check.

The issue is with your home network. Mesh networks are more susceptible to issues.

All that doesn't help me... what do you think is the issue... everything I have, except channels, is working.
