I am in prismcast/cc4c..how long does a4hc take to tune? What's the cheapest most reliable 1080p box? Also has anyone figured out a good ESPN baton to make linear channels?
for devices I assume the ONN streaming device or the google android tv standalone is recommended, as amazon firetv devices will be discontinued soon and I assume vega wont work as good. I have a shieldtv but use it personally and it will probably stop working by 2030.
Takes me about 9-10 secs on average to tune in ah4c using my Osprey devices.

You can buy a New FireTv 4K Max that will continue to use Android OS.
I prefer Link Pi encoders. Get a multi-port encoder for the best experience (IMO).
It will be phased out though by 2030ish

I'm quite happy with my LinkPi ENC1-V3's with cheep $10 usb encoders. you only get 50fps on the usb but thats still better than TVE.
Cc4c is only 30fps, and most 60fps channels aren't even 60fps. Will a haupaugge hdpvr work are there any other good ones under 100 bucks?
V3 shows being 140 bucks. Is it better than haupaugge hdpvr? Any options under 140? My PC does cc4c/prismcast and I can do 10 streams and it was 70 bucks old stock Dell i7 pc
the hdpvr is very old.
an enc1v3 + a $10 usb capture works out to ~$75 per tuner.

You have to dump the APK and look at the manifest for supported schemes. Claude code is pretty good for that. The hard part is figuring out where they come from. Not all apps support them.
Schemes are easy, you can do a dumpsys package 'pkg-name' | head -50 with adb shell and see what's supported. The trick is figuring out the exact URL syntax to kick off a channel or event.
Stuff like nbctve://live/nbc or foxone://channel/fs1, not sure if these are in the Android manifest XML or if you have to get AI to decompile the apk and figure it out.
