Contextual Search for Actors/Actresses

Love the software. There is nothing like this. Having said that, jellyfin allows me to search for shows and movies via via people. Is that possible here? Thanks.

Yes, it's called an 'advanced pass'.

A few uses for Advanced Passes

You get to Advanced Passes by going to the DVR->Passes section of the Channels DVR web UI. [Advanced%20Passes] One of the things I find useful with Advanced Passes is you can pause them so they don't record. I created a couple Advanced Passes that let me see what Movies or Shows are coming up on a channel. I have had advance pass for years. I just tried to search for " tom cruise " but it didn't show the movies he's in that i have. Jellyfin does.

[Update] So tried what you mentioned and yes it allows me to record specific media with an actor search but I can't search my existing library that way.
