Is it possible to turn off commercial detection by channel or only by show. I like commercial detection however some TVE channels are very inconsistent. Thanks
Yes and No.
If the new Smart Commercial Detection is used for the channel, then no way to turn it off currently, even though there have been requests.
You can disable the old style (still used) comskip detection globally, per show and per channel.
I’m assuming if you installed the latest beta android app and the latest server update then smart detection is automatically used. Correct?

I don't use the Channels clients and the new Smart Detect is only used on certain channels.
