Experimental: Local Networks (NBC, ABC, FOX) in some major metros via TVE

WSYXD3 is the call sign I see which is correct. In the last year it has went from WTTE to WSYX. But what I'm getting from CDVR is WXIN

So when you go to https://www.fox.com/live
It geolocates you and redirects your browser to your local station.
What is the url it ends up at?
For me, it's https://www.fox.com/live/channel/KTXL/

fox.com/live gives me WFXT (Boston) which is correct. But the TVE feed was giving me the Providence, RI station. It really doesn't matter because the local portions are disabled.

I'm seeing similar. My IP geolocates to WNBC and streaming from the network site shows WNBC. (Screenshot attached). Channels shows KNBC as the affiliate. (Screenshot attached.)

I'm seeing that the nbc site can get confused about where you are if you have ipv6 enabled. It seems to switch back and forth depending on whether ipv4 or ipv6 is used to access the website.

Ah, I see. I think the ABC domain doesn't even have AAAA records either.

Local Fox is missing on Sling and doesn’t even search for the channel in the TVE channel scan. I’m running the latest pre-release.

Guys, I can't do anything unless you submit diagnostics. You can post all the logs and screenshots in here you want, but that doesn't help me fix the issue.

CBS on tve for me pulls in a Kansas feed even though I am in VA. My ipv6 geolocation puts me right in the middle of the US so I guess that explains it. Its actually pretty cool though I get another football feed to choose from.

2021.09.17.2117 Waiting to upgrade to 2021.09.19.1731...

I noticed this on Sunday but wanted to get on 2021.09.19.1731 to test it out (and deleted and rebuilt my entire guide database to be sure it is still doing it), but with NFL games on Fox it just says "Regional Coverage" as the game name with a similar description:

But if you look at the OTA station (WNAC, Providence, RI market), everything is as expected:

Also worth noting that this past Sunday WNAC was playing a car racing show to as not to compete with the Patriots game on CBS. I tested it on the TVE feed that said it was playing football, but it definitely played the same car race, too.

Now it changed back to Boston as it should be. Rather strange, but it still doesn't matter.

@tmm1, v2021.09.19.1731 and v2021.09.21.0359 broke TVE for CBS for WPRI (Providence, RI market).

I'm getting NBC correctly but the other stations all are still West Coast affiliates.

Logs under 0a179517-2a82-49c0-bb22-3bec34068422 if you have any hints on how I can get everything to Chicago.

Is there something in the API that I can set for the location? Is that something possible or would that open up the can of worms for out of market viewing?

what does https://geolocation.onetrust.com/cookieconsentpub/v1/geo/location say?

That domain is blocked by my Pi-hole. But if the question is what affiliates I see when I go to the network sites directly? The Chicago locals, except for ABC that never has worked quite right.

I removed the TVE source (for FuboTV) and added it back. It picked up all the right locals except for ABC and I've never really got ABC to work correctly. It's showing a West Coast station (KGO) for some odd reason. I've submitted new diagnostics ( d4f0b49e-63c8-4193-953b-464720279f1b ) in case there is anything to reason out from the changes.
