I have three TVE channels. One doesn't work, which is local Tampa channel. One is 1080 and the other is 720. I have the 4k box checked in the Channels web settings.

If I uncheck the 4K box, the local TV Fox channel does work. If I record with with the 4k box checked, it produces a 0 bytes file.
I see they just released a FIX for TVE Fox.
Looks like I just lost FOX. Cannot get it back unchecked Locals and rechecked not working.

Unfortunately they're using a different type of format that Channels doesn't understand.
I have plans today so this is not going to work. You may be able to feed into xteve or other type of ffmpeg based proxy which can convert this type of playlist.
If you make a .strm file with the url I think that Kodi can play it. Probably Emby too.
EDIT: seems video only, no audio. You would need to get the main playlist yourself from chrome web inspector. Or use EPLUS docker with VLC/Kodi/etc
