Does this only work with Channels or can it be used with Jellyfin's live TV too?
I have it setup to run in Dispatcharr which then feeds both my Channels and Emby servers, so short answer is yes. I'm still in the playing with stage as I'm not certain on all aspect of this yet, so perhaps there's some specific things that only work with Channels that I haven't found yet?

The only reason I ask is because I noticed some specific Channels DVR environment variables that I'm wondering if the app will work without them. Haven't had a chance to test yet

The thread is huge and I've tried to search but I haven't seen anyone that says that ESPN linear channels work either on Android or on a fire stick. When I launch the ESPN app via ADB with the playChannel=espn etc. URL it just goes to the home screen, it will not load any linear channel.
Does anyone have working deeplinks with the ESPN app to launch the linear channels?
EDIT: played around with the APK a bit using Claude, and the conclusion is that only UUID events work in the app, not playChannel. Bummer.

Hmm. Does it work though? I still don't see it working why is there prismcast links if it's not going through cc4c? Does your espn4cc4c still work with prismcast?
So it goes work on prismcast? Like chrome capture or how does that work? So you can record? It doesn't stay linear on ESPN though does it
I installed it but none of the links work. Can anyone confirm the urls open in prismcast? I managed to get fruitdeeplinks installed but nothing plays

Heads up that CW Sports now has a tile area in the ESPN App and those events should be able to launch from there. No all the time linear station, just events.

Yeah I just noticed that browsing the ESPN app today, that's awesome for us NASCAR fans.
I'm seeing an issue with the Amazon results, lots of MLB games are showing up as 'Prime Exclusives' in the guide but these are MLB.TV games that I can't watch because I don't have a sub. The URL errors out to a 'subscribe to Prime' page even though the browser is already logged into Prime (I'm getting these through the Prism proxy).
But I wouldn't be able to watch them anyway because they're not Prime exclusives.
EDIT: might be because I can't get anything to work with Prism, I just tried watching the FedEx golf first round and get this in the Prism logs:

I have the ESPN channels configured in Prism and they work fine so I'm not sure what I have to configure in Prism to get it to see the ESPN video in the redirected espn.com UUID URL. The redirected URL plays fine in a browser when I access the FDL link that Prism gets.

good call out on Amazon. It's kind of hacky how I got it to work. Apple just tells us that an event is Amazon event. I then run a seperate HTML scraper that hits Amazon and does best attempt to see what entitlement the event belongs to. Looks like I didnt have code for MLB.
Prismcast- are you seeing that with every source? I really havent played with the Prism integration much recently but happy to dig into it more.

I do see Amazon events taking priority over MLB.TV (which doesn't make any sense since I have the settings not to do that).
That usually happens tho when the Yankees play on Prime Video (which unfortunately is NY-area only). That may need to patched. Prime Video does not have any national rights to any MLB games (just the ones via MLB.tv or Peacock or Gotham or DAZN or FOX One or MAX) so thats gonna cause some problems unless somebody has that Prime Channel...
It's weird, I got prism to work with ESPN thru FDL but it's random as to whether or not it works first try. That isn't an FDL issue, but the Prime one definitely is.
I have a pass to get Braves games, and it picks up the Prime ones that don't work.
looking into this - just to confirm, its an ESPN event you want to watch? guessing i'd need to tighten up the web url it calls if thats the case.
Yeah, it's ESPN+. Forget the espn issue, think about the prime issue with MLB games tagged as exclusive.

i assumed -- try v2.1.1 ... espn def had a bug in it's web links.
Looks good so far, installed the latest and refreshed the guide and all of the bogus Prime exclusive MLB events are gone. ESPN+ events are launching correctly in prism.
