Link Pi ENC1-V3 with the latest version and a reset of the firmware as well post upgrade
Could you share a screenshot of what your configuration looks like?
I have the exact same setup and it's working for me so it might just be a switch you need to toggle.
Bad luck again with this. I ordered a new Cam Link and it worked exactly as expected.
The other one seems to be defective.
I've had this.
In the same boat now with TVE sunset for ESPN. How are the minis working out for you? Where did you buy them from?
If you have a relatively modern server, you don't need encoders for ESPN. You can run Prismcast.
I'm still trying to decide if they are a little less smooth than the native app playing on my ONN 4K pro or not. I think they are fine for recordings. I got them here:

I have a synology, so its super weak for that docker. I set it up to try though, it was terrible performance as expected on the synology celeron. May upgrade to an i7 mini pc soon.
ok gotcha. I wonder if the ENC1-V3 would be smoother on live viewing then? do you use yttv? curious if there would be a difference using a firestick 4k max or an apple tv.
@mackid1993 is your live viewing smooth on your setup? did you have better performance with an apple tv or the osprey boxes?
Yes no issues even with two 1080p 60fps streams. I use dtv with osprey boxes.
did you get your linkpi from amz, youyee or ali?
Amazon. Came in like a day. I have 3 actually.
I don't know if anyone has compared the ENC1-V3 to the ENC-MINI If they have I would love to know their impressions as to whether there is any difference. I would guess at 1080p the various streamers are pretty equivalent. To answer your question I am not using yttv. I am on Hulu Live tv.
You're going to want more than one tuner, honestly, and the ENC1v3 is going to give you a second stream with a USB capture card. I'm not sure about the ENC Mini. Someone else can probably clarify that.
I think at least three to four tuners is probably a good number to have to ensure you're not running into recording conflicts. Minimum I would go with is two, supplemented with TVE and an HDHomeRun.
That should be enough for me given the TVE and HDHR setup I currently have. ordered the enc1-v3 from amazon. will take a month to get here. then will get the elgato 4k capture card and onn 4k device.
Anyone have recommendations as to the best LinkPi settings for fast action sports viewing? (single LinkPi, hardwired Gigabit network)
I got this from AI a few months ago and it works for me: h.264 high, 8500 kbps, VBR, 60 fps, GOP 2
Look above for some earlier posts in this thread. Theres a few posts with some some settings. That's what I use.
For those using the Elgato Cam Link 4k on an Enc1v3, did it take anything special to get it working? Whenever I plug mine in, i see only gray screens for the previews on the dashboard and the streams for both HDMI and USB don't work. I have another usb capture dongle that works fine at 720p60 but once I swap it the Elgato, it appears to break both HDMI and USB. I've tried all of the USB ports and rebooted several times. I'm on the latest linkpi firmware and the Elgato stick appears to work fine when hooked up to a computer.
Nope, just worked. Maybe you have a bad unit?
Best Buy sells them so it's worth ruling that out. I did get a bad one out of my 3.
