Passthrough of Audio on Firestick Max 4K 2nd Gen

I am using virtual channels on the Firestick to watch MKV videos using a Vizio 5.1.2 soundbar. The Firestick is attached to the hdmi in on the soundbar. If I play a Dts-hd MA or Dolby Atmos mkv on plex, the soundbar recognizes the mkv is playing the correct audio format (leds on soundbar display the type of audio format). But when watching the same movies on a virtual channel, it appears the soundbar is not seeing the same audio format (the leds do not change at all as on plex). A Dts-hd ma 5.1 track is being outputted as a Dca Dts coherent acoustics 6 channels when looking at the stats for the movie in Channels. It would appear that Channels is not truly passing the audio correctly. The soundbar says it is being sent a LPCM track. I saw another issue a few days ago with shields/sonos. Is this a similar issue?

It would appear Channels doesn’t support DTS-HD MA 5.1?

I did some further testing on my shield pro and it appears that DTS of any format is not supported by Channels. It wants to convert it to LPCM. I tried on a Vizio soundbar and a Sony 7.1 receiver. Channels sends out LPCM to both the soundbar and receiver.

Is this correct behaviour for Channels on a firestick 4k max and an Nvidia Shield Pro?
