Is anyone having issues with ESPN or CBS? I just got DirecTV Stream and get "not authorized." ESPN works on the app. I've deleted and re-added the source with no luck. I'm on the current pre-release. Is there a fix?

EDIT: Reboot allowed me to pick up ESPN, but CBS is still not working, and Fox Sports is now not working. I think it could be a DirecTV issue, as authentication with EPlusTV is not working for any channel even though they work on TV everywhere.

EDIT#2: Turns out it was a DTV issue. ESPN and Fox Sports are working now.

If anyone is interested. Direc tv stream now has skinny packages starting at $34.99 and you can get Hulu/Disney plus/ Max/ ESPN Plus included depending on the package.

I'm sorry what do you mean it was a DTV issue.. how did you get it fixed?

Were you asking me? I can only explain it as one day it wasn't working, and the next day it was. During my trial, I couldn't always log into DTV TV everywhere. It was hit or miss, but eventually, ESPN and Fox Sports just worked.

Where are you seeing skinny packages on directv site? I'm looking now and I see 4 packages, Entertainment, Choice, Ultimate and Premier, with Entertainment @ $75/mo. How so I get these "skinny" packages?

I am looking at the DirecTV Stream Genre Pack, My Entertainment. It has Disney+, Hulu Bundle Basic and MAX Basic With Ads plus 40 channels for $34.99 a month.

I get about 35 of the Directv 45 channels using Channels DVR TVE. Another 70 channels are included in the TVE scan that are just extras. They have a 5 day trial period, so you may find it worth your while to see for yourself.

Is anyone having issues with DirecTV Stream? I entered my credentials and got most channels except the ESPN channels, so I deleted and re-added. No luck. Then, I rebooted my computer and tried to add the source again. I got this error: "DirecTV is having an issue with their service. Please try again in a few hours. Channels cannot fix this." I've tried 10 times with the same error. ESPN app works as it should. Logs submitted. Any ideas on a fix?

Thank you. I deleted the source and cannot get it back, even after a computer reboot.

From my experience, ESPN is one of several channels from Stream that they do NOT make available via TVE.

That's incorrect. All the ESPN channels are available via TVE with Directv Stream!!?

I cannot add DirecTV as a source at all anymore. I've rebooted the computer multiple times and it just won't add. I cannot even get to the screen to see if I can re-add ESPN. It worked initially but now I cannot get the source back after deleting it. Anyone got a fix? I even tried changing my password in DTV. I am selecting DTV Stream as I should and it works fine on the DTV app and ESPN app.

Now I've got the source reloaded but nothing plays. DirecTV Stream has been a cluster for me since signing up this morning.

Try selecting DirecTv instead of Directv Stream. Use the same login credentials. I had to do that to get ABC back a few weeks ago. Might work for your missing channels.

Thank you. I tried that and got even fewer channels. I can now get everything through the Stream login, except Fox local and FS2. What's weird is now I can watch DTV everywhere except on a PC or MAC. I get a locked out for 24 hours notice but everything works fine now through Channels on the the DTV apps for ios and AppleTV. I called DTV and they cannot figure out the problem. A password reset did not work. They are escalating the issue.

I had a problem with my local Fox as well. That is now working with the Direct TV source instead of the DTV stream source. It did take a couple of days to show up, probably because the TVE is only during prime time.

Thanks. I'll keep rescanning the missing individual channels in the DTV and DTV Stream sources.
