Actually, it looks like they ditched Flash and its DRM for HTML5's Encrypted Media Extensions ... which is still DRM, but performed by the browser instead a plugin like Flash or Silverlight. (EME is what Netflix uses for their DRM when viewing via their website.)
So, it still looks like no Spectrum-originated channels (like SportsNet LA or NY1) in Channels any time soon.
Is there a TVE equivalent for 1309-TWFSNHD so that Brewer baseball games can be watched?
Any chance to watch some baseball with Channels DVR and TVE? I'd really love to watch some sports right about now.
I watch my favorite team via TVE, so as long as the channel Supports TVE and you are authorized to see it you should be able to.
Don't know if it's in any of the client apps, but if you go to the DVR web UI and look under On Later -> Sports

Based in the channel name I’m guessing that’s a Fox Sports Regional network? If so, go to foxsportsgo.com, log in with your spectrum credentials, and see if you can watch the channel.

If it's one of your TVE channels you should be able to find it by searching for Milwaukee Brewers

I'm pretty sure that channel is the Regional Fox Sports Net Wisconsin.
Don't know if it's available in Channels TVE, someone in Wisconsin or one of the devs would know.

If I can view the channel via Fox Sports Go, is that the correct prerequisite for it to be available with TVE through Channels DVR?
Works fine with SageTV, so no rush, but I would like to get sports working in Channels DVR, if it's possible.

Apparently Fox Sports Wisconsin has disappeared. Does that mean I have to rescan my entire TVE tuner again and hope that it pops up? Is there a way to just scan for missing channels?
If it's in the TVE Source Channels Edit list you can rescan it.

Not the app, but the website. If you can view the live stream of that channel on Fox Sports' website, then it might be available.

Then I would think you could watch it.
Does your TVE channel list include FSN-Wisconsin?
To see which TVE channels aren't enabled
-Click the Pencil icon next to your TVE source in the web UI
-Click the Edit button in the upper right
Try to individually rescan the channels with errors
-Click the dropdown at the right of the error and select Rescan
