Provider - YouTube TV

Probably cost more to have access to TVE and the streaming services don't want to pay more. Ironically Att tv now doesn't access and they own Warner media.

Easiest way for you to answer your own question is to go to the programs watch live website and see what providers are listed to login with for TVE access.
TBS YouTubeTV not listed
TNT YouTubeTV not listed

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll be sure to check that out going forward forward.

I can't access it either. I tried logging and it kept making me log in with my phone. Says request timed out multiple times. I checked and 2FA is off I can log into Freeform but not NBC

What did you do to get this working? I get chrome authorization errors and too many logins. NBC says not authorized.

Earlier today google blocked a “suspicious login.” even after logging into the account I was using for tve and approving it, the chrome auth in channels still wants me to enter an sms 2fa. There is no option to do so.

Try logging into the same account to Google from a regular web browser. Once you successfully authenticate it may stop prompting for the 2FA.

no dice

If you're running linux, then I recommend apt-get install chromium-browser xvfb

This'll be fun since the server is headless, I'll see if I can get chromium working on it.

I installed chromium and accessed it over VNC. Logged into my google account with no issues. Is there a place I can copy the cookies out of the working browser into the headless chrome?

Once you install chromium on the system the dvr should use that one instead of the embedded one. Are you still getting the error?

Yes, even after restarting channels dvr.

Then you may need to add a new login to your YTTV without any phone number attached

Hilariously, this IS the new login without a phone number attached. Google may have linked it via the family sharing to my main one.

OK, that WAS a clue though, and you can pull the phone number off of an account in myaccount.google.com, so now it seems to be scanning TVE sites.

TL;DR - If your home IP address changes, it may break TVE auth.

Today, I discovered that TVE had stopped working due to an auth error. As it turns out, Google had begun flagging logins from Channels DVR as suspicious and therefore, prevented access to all TVE channels provided by YTTV.

To remedy the problem, I first attempted to authorize older login attempts via the e-mail alerts sent to my TVE inbox. This did not seem to work as subsequent attempts to access the YTTV TVE Channels continued to trigger alert e-mails.

It wasn't until I verified three new and consecutive security alerts (all sent within 45 minutes) that the auth errors stopped and TVE channels began to load right away.

In hindsight, I suspect a recent internet outage and subsequent issuing of a new IP address may have triggered the Google Security alerts. It also took me a while to discover the source of the auth issues as I do not regularly monitor my TVE e-mail address.

Admittedly, this is an anecdotal account but I felt it was worth mentioning in case anyone else runs into this issue.

im having an issue where it is asking me to approve the app, but i cant. How did everyone else get around this?

Go to nbc.com/live and login there first.
