Would a test be to SSH into my Synology running DSM 7.0 and try
chown -R root some_directory
chmod -R u+s some_directory
Disk permissions are not the cause of the error. Everything is working except part of the sciencechannel.com page doesn't load and no providers are shown.
I was able to reproduce on DSM7 so I'm looking into a fix.
Try upgrading to v2021.08.19.0020, then rescan SCI only and submit diagnostics.
Still seeing "no login form found"
Logs have been submitted as 434248c7-26b8-4956-8360-c3c17c74a076
In the tve_error_screenshot.png the cursor is in the "Search for your TV Provider" box
I find it strange that everytime it gets the "no login form found" error, it's submitted my login username.
To what form?
[TVE] action=fill_form u=MyUserName
I don't have a Synology with intel CPU so I can't reproduce exactly. The issue with my other unit was due to old chrome. I tested on Intel QNAP and it works there. Also works on Mac and Linux.
I have ordered a DS220+ for testing, but it won't arrive until next week and I will be out of town.
No luck here. aeb57d4b-9992-4d5e-ae68-da3d3eaedf3c
Thank you for your continued dedication to finding a solution for us.
Thanks for the diagnostics.
I'm trying one more thing, might help but probably won't make a difference. If you want to try, scan with v2021.08.19.0105 in about 20 minutes.
EDIT: build is ready.
No Go, thanks for trying!
"no login form found"

Only difference is on the error screenshot looks like the Help button is selected.
I could swear there used to be some entry in the log when authentication about "xvnc" or something like that.
Don't see it in the log now.
That's only in the TVE docker container. I think that's what was causing other problems for you before in docker.
No luck here either. Thanks for trying.

I'm currently watching the Science channel in Channels DVR.
I created a new docker container on my Synology.
I immediately updated it to v2021.08.19.0105
I clicked and held the Login button after entering my credentials.
There were a lot of channels failing scan, but Science wasn't one of them.
Most errored out with "Invalid parameters (-32602)".
One failed with "chrome failed to start", one "no refresh token".
I manually rescanned the failing channels and all but DIY "403 Forbidden" came back.
No idea how long this will last.
In case it helps Logs have been submitted as de44908d-0cac-4027-a375-b4eef0ec9e67
Rescanned DIY channel this morning and it's working.
Now have all Discovery Networks channels auth'd and available.
What version of Channels? Did you do a full scan?
Look at my post, 2 posts above yours.
I don’t know how to create a docker container. I just have Channels installed on my through the Package Center. I’m not all that savvy with Synology and just use it for my Plex and Channels
Hopefully they'll have a fix in a couple weeks.
Any update to this?
