ATSC 3.0 very slow to tune

Done

Thanks. Is it slow every time or is it randomly faster sometimes?

I have had it randomly tune a bit faster, but still, never any where near the 2-3 sec of the HDHR app that tunes fast every single time.

Looks GOOD!

Been flipping back and forth, tuning is now about 4 secs.

Thank You!

Bingo! We have a winner. 30secs down to 3-4

Thank you developers.

So far I have been kind of sandboxing my two Atsc3 non DRM’ed channels that Ive recently have been able to pick up - for testing purposes. This definitely brings the tuning speed on par with the rest of the channels!

Fixed for me @tmm1 !!!! Seems like you figured it out quick! If you don't mind me asking, what was causing the delay???

Thanks for the hard work!

One of my ATSC 3.0 Raleigh / Durham lighthouse tunes within 3-5 seconds at times now and 26 seconds just minutes later. I have access to 3 ATSC lighthouse towers.

128.1 just took 47 seconds to tune.
108.1 just took 12 seconds (Greensboro, NC Lighthouse)
105.1 just took 26 seconds to tune. Took 3-4 seconds about 10 mins ago.

Do you have 1 HDHR tuner or multiple?

How is it in the HDHR app?

HDHR app:
128.1 took 4 seconds to tune.
108.1 took 6 seconds (Greensboro, NC Lighthouse)
105.1 took 5 seconds to tune.

@troyhough Only 1 tuner

I will need tuner capture to investigate

@koltasi Please try it 20 or 30 times switching between all 3 in the HDHR app. 3 tunes is not a good sample size.

Tell me how and we'll do it. Just clips or something?
