I’ll try to reproduce again, but behavior is that the app eventually crashes out to the initializing screen after several flips back and forth using the play button.
Yes it happened to me too ... when you do previous channel a few times.
I also have this issue with all my Fire TV’s

Just happened to me .... Usually when going back and firth on TVE.
