TV Everywhere Channels

Since the question seems to come up more often than not, I figured I would go ahead and categorize the TV Everywhere (TVE) channels that Channels currently supports. I am dividing the listing into several sections to make looking for channels and their support easier.

The first section separates TVE channels into groups based upon their ownership. I've done this, because if your package allows you to access one channel owned by a particular, you often have access to most—if not all—of the other channels owned by the same company. Some of these ownership groups might be part of partnerships, but for the most part the ownership is clear.

The second section will collect local networks available over TVE, broken down by their area. (Users are welcome to submit their networks and locations in the replies.)

The third section is a listing of the channels in sequential order. Notations can be found on the right, such as whether users typically have access to either the Eastern or Pacific feed of a channel, or possibly both. Some channels may only be defined by a range, such as is the case for regional sports networks (RSNs) through Fox Sports, or local networks.

These channels are listed in the order in which they appear in the guide. Channels 6700 and above are not included, as those are all free–to–stream channels that are included with every TVE source that is added. The question now is, which ott service has the most.

Not the right question. The real question is which service has the most stations that you might want to watch. For me it is Fubo with the $8.00 add-on. A close second is T-Vision which is currently only available to T-Mobile cell customers. However, everyone's needs are different. For example, I never need Kids programs, and I only watch a few obscure sports.

Neither of those are the questions this post/list was to address. Those questions have been discussed in numerous other threads across the forum. That is not what this is.

This thread is simply to identify and list the available channels. Whether your TVE credentials give you access to a particular channel is beyond the scope of this topic, and ought to be discussed in the relevant threads that are present for each provider.

(To keep this thread on topic, future non-relevant posts will be flagged and removed; the above posts will stand as an example of off-topic comments.)

Maybe add locals and put area/provider dependent

I suggested a section on playground for this, it hasn't been added yet

I can do that.

If you want to include your general location (TV market area, metropolitan center, ZIP/area code), I will include which local networks authenticate. For example:

Southern California – Inland Empire:

  • ABC – KABC
  • CBS – KCBS
  • Fox – KTTV
  • NBC – KNBC
  • PBS – KLCS, KOCE, KVCR

Since I don't watch them, I'm not sure whether the Univision stations (Univision, UniMás, Galavisión) are considered locals ... Channels assigns them a region specific call sign for guide purposes; can any offer additional guidance on this?

That makes a bit more sense. Corrected.

Vice formerly Viceland formerly H2 formerly History2 is also A&E

Vice TV does not have a live linear stream on their website, and therefore does not work with Channels.

Why'd NBATV support get dropped? I'm able to login on their site and view it.

As mentioned above, it changed. However, some users still have the NBA TV channel in their lineups, but I'm not certain if they're able to actually retrieve a stream.

Other channels that at one point in time were supported, but have since been removed are:

  • Pop
  • MSG/MSG+

(I've also noticed that FS West and Prime Ticket no longer show up, but I think that might be the result of RSN consolidation after the Fox/Disney/Sinclair purchase/divestment.)

(I suppose a section could be added for removed channels, perhaps in the hopes they might once again find themselves supported.)

You might also want to link to this, assuming it works the same way Channels DVR does when you click Check Availability next to a channel.
https://getchannels.com/docs/channels-dvr-server/tv-everywhere/availability/

This is a a great resource, thanks for sharing it.

I understand that VICE (aka Viceland) isn't available via Channels DVR because Vice Media doesn't offer the same kind of live linear streaming that other TVE channels do. At least on the plus side, when logged into their app or website, there is on-demand access to all of their content.

That said - I couldn't find VICE on that reference list at all, hopefully it can be added to allay any confusion from future customers. Even just to explain it's not supported.
